How to use
Using this application can easily calculate and find your bodys resting metabolic rate. You can easily calculate RMR using this application. Just insert your age, gender, height, and other required information. Click on the calculation button and use this application to quickly obtain results related to your bodys RMR and calories.

Step 1 Calculate RMR
RMR is the number of calories required for your body to function, excluding your daily physical activity and other activities. To calculate RMR, adjust the formula using gender, age, height, and weight.

Mifflin, St Jeor:
Male formula: 9.99 × Weight+6.25 × Height -4.92 × Age+5=RMR
Female formula: 9.99 × Weight+6.25 × Height -4.92 × Age -161=RMR of women

Step 2. Calculate your activity volume
The activity levels used in the equation are as follows:
McArdle:
1.2, or sedentary (with little or no exercise)
1.375, or mild exercise (2-4 days per week)
1.55 or moderate exercise (4-5 days per week)
1.725, or very active (vigorous exercise 6-7 days per week)
1.9, or excessive activity (very difficult exercise, training, or physical labor)

RMR × Activity=Calories required to maintain weight
For women weighing 68 kilograms, if they exercise more, they will need 2611 calories to maintain their weight (formula: 1372 (RMR)) × 1.9 (activity level)=2607 calories.
Men with moderate exercise of 81.6 kilograms need 2742 calories to maintain their weight (formula: 1767 (RMR)) × 1.55 (activity level)=2739 calories.
